Privacy Policy

This policy explains, in plain terms, what happens to information when you use CleverCat.CC.

What the site does not do

CleverCat.CC has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no comment system. It never asks for your name, e-mail address, phone number or payment details. Nothing you type into a tool, and no file you open with a tool, is transmitted to us or stored by us. All processing happens locally in your browser, and closing the tab discards it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to count visits and understand which tools are used, so effort goes to the pages people actually need. It records technical and aggregated information such as page address, referring site, approximate region derived from IP, device type, browser and language. We do not use it to identify individuals and we do not combine it with any other source. IP handling and retention follow Google's settings for GA4.

Advertising

The site is funded by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices. Where required by law, a consent notice is shown before personalised ads are served.

Cookies and local storage

Our own pages set no tracking cookies. Cookies present on the site come from Google Analytics and Google AdSense as described above. Some tools may keep a setting in your browser's local storage purely so the page looks the same when you return; that value stays on your device and can be removed by clearing site data.

Hosting and log files

The site is served as static files from a content delivery network. Like any web host, that provider processes connection data (IP address, time, requested file, user agent) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not receive those logs as a personal dataset.

External links

Pages may link to other sites for reference. Once you follow a link, that site's own policy applies; we are not responsible for its content or its data practices.

Children

The site is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We knowingly collect no data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing on our side to access, correct or delete. For data processed by Google as a provider of analytics and advertising, use Google's own privacy controls. Questions about this policy: hello@clevercat.cc.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page is updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
