About CleverCat.CC
CleverCat.CC is a small independent workshop of 57 online tools. Every one of them is a single page of HTML and JavaScript that runs inside your browser: there is no account to create, no file to upload, and no queue to wait in. Open a page, type or drop what you have, and read the answer.
Why the tools work this way
Most everyday tasks — working out a percentage, cleaning up a list, checking what a JSON file really contains, resizing a photo before you email it — do not need a server. Doing the work locally makes each tool faster, keeps it usable on a slow connection, and means your content never leaves the device you are sitting at. It also keeps the site cheap enough to stay free.
How the pages are written
Each tool page is written by hand around one job. It explains what the calculation or transformation does, shows worked examples with real numbers or real text, and answers the questions people usually ask about that specific task. Where a rule of thumb has limits — body-mass index, loan estimates, readability scores — the page says so instead of pretending the number is the whole story.
The cat
The mascot is an engineer cat in a hard hat with a wrench and a rolled-up drawing. That is the idea in one picture: small, practical instruments, built properly, kept in one place where you can find them again.
Languages
The site is published in English, Spanish and Portuguese. The three versions carry the same tools and the same explanations, so a link you send to a colleague works in whichever language they read.
Corrections
If a tool returns something you believe is wrong, tell us what you entered and what you expected. Reports about arithmetic, rounding and translation are read and acted on. Write to hello@clevercat.cc.
